bald eagle in cherry!
i found this big guy just right out of cherry he did not fly away when we stopped to take pictures i took close ups to but this is my favorite because the background is so beautiful
Ya Maddie we where a lot closer but i just picked this picture because i liked it the best we where of the road half in the ditch and the bird was on a pole on the other side of the ditch so it was probably like 5 feet away!
It's amazing that the bird didn't fly away when you came up to it. I took a few shots of a bald eagle in flight when I was at Starved Rock in January. However, I couldn't get nearly this close.
About the background, I agree and disagree. I like the composition, but a closeup would have been much more powerful.
